Architecture and Monochrome

I’ve been attending this church since I moved to Houston. I’ve loved how the architectural elements draw you closer and invite you inside with the flap pulled aside. It was only after I viewed the photos in black and white that I noticed the cross under the bell tower.  I had never noticed it in the daytime. I took a survey of friends to see which friends prefer B&W and which prefer color.  The answer was unanimous, “it depends”.  Even on this dreary weather day, the monochrome appears to work well.
