Photo 101 – Solitude

In addition to thinking about what it means to you, also consider the placement of the subject in your shot. How can you interpret the state of being alone, or a lonely and uninhabited place?

A beautiful, Fall day in Baltimore. The sun is shining. The leaves on the trees are turning colors, while the rest are being swept around by the chilly wind. It’s the perfect opportunity for a walk, in solitude.

Or, an opportunity to escape the chill by relaxing in a cozy, warm, neighborhood bar.
